This recipe is: vegetarian, gluten free
- 8 oz (1/2 lb) cream cheese, softened
- 5.33 oz (1/3 lb) smoked gouda, shredded
- 3 oz sharp cheddar, shredded
- 1/2 cup IPA of choice
- 1 tsp spicy brown mustard
- 1/8 tsp ground cayenne pepper
- 1 green onion, sliced
- Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over low heat. Stir with a wooden spoon and eventually a whisk, until combined and hot.
- Pour into a serving dish and top with green onion. Serve with chips, bread, pretzels, sliced peppers, or whatever you want!
Serves about 8 as an appetizer.
